The exhibition retraces the artistic history of the Godebski family, over several generations:
Cyprien GODEBSKI (1835-1909), sculptor
His daughter, Misia GODEBSKA SERT (1872-1950), pianist and muse to many artists (Renoir, Vuillard, Lautrec..)
Misia’s nephew, Jean GODEBSKI (1901-1990), painter
Jean’s children: Ariel GODEBSKA NEHAMA, ceramist and Francois GODEBSKI (1940-1997), painter, sculptor
Francois’s children: Cyprien GODEBSKI, painter, Misia GODEBSKA, costume designer
Yash GODEBSKI, painter, Emma GODEBSKA, painter
Francois’s nephew: Jean-Baptiste PELLERIN, photographer
